How We Built A Menswear Brand From 2 Different Continents
We built a successful brand, continents apart. MORGAN.M is a Men’s apparel &leather accessory brand. Tom is from United Kingdom & Sid is from India, we crossed paths when pursuing our degrees in Manchester. Ever since we met, we were inquisitive to learn about each other’s culture - Tom was always interested to learn about Indian tradition, art, food, economy and manufacturing. Likewise, Sid was fascinated by English fashion trends, varying landscapes, and Victorian architecture. Our conversations about culture and economy soon turned into a brand.
Running a brand from two different countries may be viewed as a challenge but for us it is our strongest point. This very set up helps us bring the best of both worlds from - resources, materials to craftsmen.
We work together on the designs but we both have aspects that we excel at, like Sid’s background in manufacturing comes handy when sourcing, manufacturing materials, labeling products and dispatching the line to our warehouse in UK. Tom is great at all things sale, marketing and the legal aspects of the business so he takes care of the postproduction and getting all orders dispatched to our customers.
We are firm believers of sustainable business practices and that’s why we source leather from some of the finest tanneries in the world. All MORGAN.M leather products are made of 100% genuine leather made from authentic cowhide. Our leather products range from messenger bags, briefcase, satchels, duffle bags, wallets, travel wallet, wash bag to card holders our leather bags are made for formal and leisure purposes. Our products are for any man who likes to keep it dandy, the man who is in the lookout for genuine leather bags that are both functional and stylish. We also believe in ethical manufacturing and fair pay to the craftsmen and everybody involved from pre-production, post-production and dispatching products. Our craftsmen with exceptional sartorial skills weave their magic and bring our exclusive designs to life. Each MORGAN.M shirt is tailored from scratch – scarps of fabric to shirt. We’re here to bridge the gap between fast fashion and high-end fashion. Each style created is unique and exquisite to the wearer; we produce in limited quantities for exclusivity of styles and to be mindful of mass production.
A MORGAN.M man will always stand class apart from the crowd simply because our designs don’t follow fast fashion trends. You do not have to worry about styles going of trends each season because what we tailor is beyond fashion seasons.Apart from B2C we also exhibit our products in trade shows and cater in different parts of the world.
